Dr. Amna Al Saadi is an Associate Professor at the Global College of Engineering and
Technology (GCET) in Oman, affiliated with the University of West England, Bristol, UK. Since
2020, she has established and led the Department of Urban Planning and Environmental
Management (UPEM) at GCET. Dr. Al Saadi has developed and managed four recognized
academic programs within UPEM and founded research groups focused on sustainability,
securing multiple grants in the process. She is a licensed and certified consultant in Urban andEnvironmental Projects. Her international collaborations provide unique insights into urban
planning practices. With over 15 years of experience, Dr. Al Saadi is dedicated to training
urban planners and making a positive impact on communities.
